The suit of the ministry of transport and communication of Armenia against monopolist of the telecommunication network of the country “ArmenTel” Armenian-Greek company will be considered by the economic court of Armenia January 8, 2004, the court reported. It should be noted that the suit is due to “ArmenTel” refusal to deny via media its report on increasing tariffs for telecommunication services in Armenia, which is illegal in the ministry opinion. It should be reminded that December 3 minister of transport and communication of Armenia Andranik Manukian demanded that “ArmenTel” publicly refuse from the statement in question within three days, which was never done.
