NKR LEADER DISBELIEVES AZERBAIJAN’S MILITARISTIC CALLS

“I do not believe the appeals to war uttered by some Azeri political leaders today”, as reported by Mediamax agency, Nagorno Karabakh president Arkadi Ghukasian stated. In his opinion, these calls are senseless, as life has shown that issues are never settled by means of war. NKR leader emphasized that the settlement should only be achieved in political sphere, at the same time expressing assurance that such a resolution will be found. “I am convinced that neither Azerbaijan nor Armenia and moreover Nagorno Karabakh need this war today”, – Ghukasian noted. NKR president also underscored that Nagorno Karabakh people will never resign their independence. “I am sure that the path we have chosen will be effective and we will achieve our goals”, – he said.
