Armenian President Robert Kocharian commissioned the General Prosecutor to study the facts connected with the assault at chairman of the Helsinki Assembly of Armenia, lawyer Mikael Danielian and undertake all possible measures to identify those to blame. To note, yesterday morning M. Danielian was beaten by a group of unknown persons near his house. Heavily injured, he is in the Republican Hospital at present. Let us remind that earlier Mikael Danielian gave an interview to Echo Baku newspaper stating that Robert Kocharian can start a war in order to distract the opposition’s attention, which demands his resignation.
