Newly appointed US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Steven Mann will visit Yerevan and Baku immediately on completion of the meeting of the Armenian and Azeri foreign ministers with the mediators that is to take place in Prague today, Armenia’s Ambassador to the US Arman Kirakosian told Mediamax agency after his meeting with S. Mann in the Armenian Embassy in Washington. In the Ambassador’s words, S. Mann has many times visited Armenia, paying his last visit in 1992 when commissioned to Yerevan to open the US Embassy. “Thus we can assume that the newly appointed US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group was the first US charge’ d’affairs in Armenia”, Arman Kirakosian noted.
