ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTRY REFUTED HEARSAY OF SKIRMISH AT ARMENIAN-AZERI BORDER

The Armenian Defense Ministry strictly refuted the reports of Azeri media about skirmish at the contact line of the Armenian and Azeri armed forces at the sector of Tavush and Ghazakh regions on July 21 evening. Armenian Defense Ministry press service officials stated that they do not possess such information. To remind, yesterday Azeri press service spread reports saying that Armenians from the territories of Berkaber village fired upon the Azeri positions. As Armenian Defense Ministry stated the Azeri party has many times made statements of the kind recently. As a matter of fact, Azeri sub-units periodically, however in vain, try to advance their positions into the Armenian territory in the direction of the Armenian village of Berkaber.
