Baluyevsky: Many Issues to Discuss but No Problems Available between Armenia and Russia

“I am visiting my true friends. You perfectly know that the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation are the CSTO member-states and we have a great number of common tasks. I do not want to offend the other states but Russia and Armenia are the closest allies within the organization,” Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Yuri Baluyevsky stated during a brief with journalists in the International Airport of Zvartnots. In his words, there are many plenty of issues to discuss but there are no problems available between Armenia and Russia. Yuri Baluyevsky noted that during the visit he is scheduled to meet with the political leadership of the republic. “I will convey the greetings and wishes of our Minister. We will discuss not only military but also economic and social matters including joint training of the armed forces, military and technical cooperation in the region,” Yuri Baliyevsky said, IA Regnum reported.
