Armenia’s National Assembly has ordered an internal investigation into Razmik Arakelyan, head of the parliament’s Administrative and Economic Department.
The decision was outlined in a November 6 directive issued by Ruben Rubinyan, identified in the document as National Assembly Speaker.
The investigation will examine Arakelyan’s performance of his official duties and determine whether there are grounds for disciplinary action.
A special commission has been established to conduct the inquiry, which must be completed within 20 days.
