Armen Grigoryan re-elected to Ethics Commission at Prosecutor General’s Office

Armen Grigoryan, head of the Department for Crimes Against Property at Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office, has been re-elected as a prosecutorial member of the Ethics Commission, receiving 40 votes in favor and none against.

The election took place on November 6 at a meeting chaired by Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan.

The vote was held ahead of the November 14 expiration of Grigoryan’s current term. Under Armenia’s Law on the Prosecutor’s Office, prosecutorial members of the commission are elected by a majority of eligible senior prosecution officials.

Following the secret ballot, Vardapetyan congratulated Grigoryan on his re-election, emphasizing the importance of integrity, impartiality and objectivity in the commission’s work.
