KARABAKH REFUTED REPORTS BY AZERI MEDIA ABOUT DELIBERATE TRANSMISSION OF ARMENIAN TV PROGRAMS AT AZERBAIJANI TERRITORY

Nagorno Karabakh is refuting the reports by the Azeri mass media about deliberate transmission of Armenian TV programs at the territory of Azerbaijan. The day before Day.az Azeri spread the reports that “as result of starting of the relay that earlier belonged to Azerbaijan”, TV programs in the Armenian language were transmitted in the Azeri region Oguz. When commenting by request of Arminfo on the present information, Artsakhcommunication company director Suren Mirzoyan noted that a small capacity relay was launched for broadcasting programs in the Askeran region of NKR the other day. However he viewed as misinforming the statements about intentional transmission of the programs on the frequency of ANS Azeri TV channel. He also refuted the reports that the relay was owned by the Azeri side earlier. “We are ready to discuss any moot point regarding our work with Azerbaijan”, Mirzoyan stated adding that before setting up a clamor, the Azeris had better discuss the problem with them.
